One-liner: the Agència Valenciana de la Innovació's multi-year (€59M) programme to strengthen the whole regional innovation system — connecting research, technology institutes, universities, clusters and companies. Note: AVI now operates as "IVACE+i Innovación" (integrated into the IVACE structure).
Status: the 2026 lines are closed (deadlines extended to ~28 Apr 2026, with a telematic reopening 7 May 2026). Annual programme within the 2026–2028 envelope — expect the next calls in early 2027.
What you get — the main lines
- Línea 1 — Valorisation & transfer: valorisation, transfer and business exploitation of R&D results (bringing research/IP to market with companies). (GVA procedure 19590.)
- Línea 2 — Scientific innovation units / innovation interfaces: strengthening the interfaces of innovation (research units, OTRIs, institutes) that connect knowledge to industry ("Fortalecimiento de los interfaces de innovación 2026").
- Additional strands support clusters, talent, and consolidation across the innovation system.
Who it's for
- Innovation-system actors: technology institutes (REDIT), universities, research units, clusters, and companies (especially in consortium with research agents). Startups typically benefit via consortium projects with institutes/universities, or by picking up valorised research/IP.
