One-liner: the Universitat de València Science Park's I edición incubation program — a 6-month, in-kind (non-monetary) aid: free workspace in the PCUV Semillero Empresarial plus training and scientific/business support, for up to 10 companies (<5 years) in the Comunitat Valenciana. Open now — closes 15 July 2026, 23:59.
Status: OPEN, CLOSING SOON — deadline 15 July 2026, 23:59 (ambos inclusive), i.e. 10 days from today (2026-07-05). Apply by emailing incuba2@uv.es. Confirmed via three independent live sources (PCUV events page, CEEI Valencia/Castellón EmprenemJunts channel, UV Emprén novedades) plus the official signed bases reguladoras PDF (resolution dated 11 June 2026) — see Sources.
What you get
- 6 months of free incubation: a shared workspace in the Semillero Empresarial (Campus Tarongers), plus free access (subject to availability) to a training room and a multi-use room.
- 6 mandatory training sessions (theoretical-practical): pitch/strategic communication, business models & economic sustainability, financing & access to resources, market strategy & internationalization, team/project management, and AI & digital tools for business.
- Support services: participation in FPCUV business/scientific-technical activities, preferential-user access to UV scientific/business-support services, visibility/communication support, and a promotional video of the company.
- Legally, this is an ayuda en especie (in-kind aid, not cash) — a distinction that matters for compatibility with other grants (see Key facts).
Who it's for
- Micro-enterprises or SMEs (per EC Regulation 880/2008 Annex I definition), sole traders, or other business-form entities that: are legally constituted with max. 5 years' age as of the application deadline; have their registered office in the Comunitat Valenciana; run an innovative, knowledge- or sustainability-based project; and have a sufficient degree of development to join an incubation environment.
- Priority (not exclusivity) to projects in social sciences, humanities, and social innovation — worth 25% of the evaluation score (see below), so a strong differentiator but not a hard gate.
- Up to 10 companies selected; a reserve list is kept, ranked by score, in case of dropouts.
How to apply
- Email incuba2@uv.es with the required documentation, or start at the INCUBA2 2026 microsite (forms linked from there). Phone: (+34) 96 354 38 42.
- Application window: 15 June – 15 July 2026, 23:59, both inclusive. Required documents (all as PDF): Anexo I (Solicitud — entity/contact/team/200-word summary), Anexo II (Memoria del proyecto — value proposition, problem, target market, business model, development stage, 6-month work plan, optional sustainability/impact section), Anexo III (Declaración responsable, signed by legal rep), Anexo IV (image-rights authorization), copy of promoters' national ID, escritura de constitución + estatutos vigentes, and a 3–5 minute explainer video.
- Evaluation (weighted, out of 100%): presentation/candidacy quality 20% · innovation 25% (priority, not exclusivity, to social sciences/humanities/social innovation) · market viability/orientation 20% · sustainability & social impact 20% · link to Universitat de València 15%.
- Selection Committee: chaired by the PCUV Director, up to 5 members (FPCUV + UV). Provisional resolution → 5 business days for appeals/acceptance → definitive resolution, published on the FPCUV site.
- If selected, formal incorporation (with constitution deed, legal-rep powers, and Social Security/Tax Agency/regional treasury good-standing certificates) is due before 30 September 2026 — miss this and the slot passes to the next-ranked reserve project.
Key facts
- Free (in-kind) · 6 months · up to 10 companies · <5 years · Comunitat Valenciana. Contact incuba2@uv.es.
- I edición (first edition) — approved by Resolución de 11 de junio de 2026 of the PCUV Director, Pedro Carrasco Sorlí (signed 2026-06-11, Paterna). This is a genuinely new program, not a repeat of a prior cycle.
- Funded from the FPCUV's 2026 "Línea INCUBA2" budget line, which may draw on regional/national/EU entrepreneurship-support instruments, explicitly including GVA's EMENTI grants — a funding-stack detail not previously documented.
- Compatible with other grants/aid for the same purpose, capped so the combined total doesn't exceed the subsidized activity's cost — relevant if a founder is stacking this with EMENTI or another instrument.
- Provides the workspace described in PCUV Semillero Empresarial.
