One-liner: Spain's national ICO mediated credit line — subsidised loans channelled through commercial banks for companies and the self-employed to fund investment, activity, liquidity, digitalisation (and housing rehab). You apply at your own bank; ICO provides the funds and sets the framework, the bank underwrites the risk.
What you get
- Up to €12,500,000 per client, financing up to 100% of your financing needs.
- Purpose: investment projects, general business activity, liquidity, digitalisation initiatives, housing rehabilitation.
- Term: 1–20 years, with an optional grace period on principal of up to 3 years.
- Interest: fixed or variable, plus the bank's margin (which varies by amortisation term).
Who it's for
- Any Spanish company, SME or self-employed entrepreneur (autónomo), and public/private entities, resident or foreign investing in Spain — for investment or liquidity needs.
How to apply (mediated model)
- Go to any ICO collaborating bank (Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank, Sabadell, etc.) — ICO does not lend directly.
- The bank analyses your request and underwrites the risk; if approved, it formalises the loan under the ICO line terms.
- Timing: the line is a rolling facility valid through 2026 — no single public deadline; availability depends on the annual ICO allocation and your bank. Consult the Folleto informativo Líneas ICO for the current-year terms.
- Info line: ICO 900 121 121.
