One-liner: VIC's GovTech route into the Ajuntament — startups with an AI, automation or advanced-analytics product that is already on the market get trained to sell to the public sector and then demonstrate their product directly to the municipal departments that could buy it. Not an accelerator; a structured sales-and-procurement on-ramp.
What a founder gets
- Six practical modules on B2G commercial strategy, public procurement, designing GovTech AI use cases, and technical scalability (in person, 11, 18 and 25 Nov 2026).
- Personalised mentoring from specialists, including mentors with public-sector profiles.
- Demonstrations to the public teams with the best fit (hybrid, through Nov–Dec 2026).
- Institutional Demo Day (December) before public officials, companies and ecosystem partners.
- A route beyond the programme — the call names pilot, contrato menor or licitación as possible continuations. That is the real prize; there is no cash.
- Entry into VIC's GovTech alumni community, with access to future calls.
Who it's for
- Startups and companies with fiscal domicile anywhere in Spain — not only València.
- Must already have an AI, automation or advanced-analytics solution that fits public administration and is ready to demonstrate. Early ideas will not score.
- Must commit to attend every in-person event in València.
How to engage

- Timeline (VIC calls the dates indicative): evaluation 6–15 Oct → 25 pre-selected told 16–19 Oct → launch event 27 Oct (matchmaking + feedback, in person) → 10 finalists confirmed end of October → training in November → demos Nov–Dec → Demo Day in December.
Key facts
- Selection weighs public value, not startup metrics: (1) the problem must be recurring and transversal across the administration, not one department's one-off need; (2) differentiation from what the administration already uses; (3) replicability in other administrations.
- EU AI Act screening is explicit — candidacies are reviewed against Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, based on the technologies and compliance measures the company declares. Come with your risk classification done.
- The funnel is narrow: 25 pre-selected, 10 in the programme.
- It is the operational form of VIC's GovTech line, and a sibling of CPI - Compra Publica Innovadora and the Valencia Urban Sandbox (Program): the Sandbox lets you test in the city, this lets you pitch to the buyer.
