One-liner: a free, five-month EOI pre-incubation coworking at La Harinera for early-stage dual-use / emergency / security projects — the first concrete founder-facing instrument in València's 2026 defense-and-resilience line.
What a founder gets

- Completely free — co-funded by the Fondo Social Europeo Plus, the Ministerio de Industria y Turismo and Valencia Innovation Capital.
Who it's for
- Residents of the city of València — a hard requirement.
- Entrepreneurs, unemployed or inactive people, or employed people with a new business idea, with an early-stage project. This is idea/validation stage, not a startup accelerator.
- Four thematic areas:
- innovative entrepreneurship in the cognitive domain;
- defence of critical installations and infrastructure;
- aeronautics / space;
- advanced networks and secure communications — 5G/6G. Plus, more broadly, technology for emergencies and climate crises.
How to engage
- Apply through EOI's admission form (link on the EOI course page and on VIC's programme page).
- About 20 projects; the call stays open until the places are filled — so first-come in practice, whatever the end date says.
- Sessions Tuesdays 16:00–20:00, in person, 13 October 2026 to February 2027.
Key facts
- It is almost certainly not the "Defense Tech Accelerator". VIC's 2026 programme calendar
promised a Programa de Aceleración en Emergencias y Tecnologías Duales in Sept–Dec 2026
(see Defense Tech Accelerator (Program)). This call carries the same sector tag and lands in
that window — but it is an EOI pre-incubation coworking for city residents at idea stage,
not an acceleration programme for dual-use startups. Whether VIC considers this the fulfilment of
that line, or a separate item with the accelerator still to come, is not stated
#status/verify. Do not tell a funded dual-use startup this is their accelerator. - Two dates, two sources: VIC shows 18 Sep – 12 Oct 2026; EOI says only "until places are filled". Treat 12 Oct as the latest safe date, not a guaranteed one.
- Minor discrepancy: EOI gives the venue address as C/ Joan Verdeguer 116; VIC and the La Harinera page give 32. The building is the same.
- EOI runs this coworking format across Spain; this is the València / dual-tech edition.
